Just had to rotate the blades on my DW734 – planing some reclaimed maple from an old school gym floor really ate up the blades. I am going to order a spare set for when side2 on the OEM blades go south. Has anyone used any of the non-OEM blades I see advertised on the ‘net? Are they worth the premium over the OEM blades?

Thanks

Mark

did you ever buy any “aftermarket” blades for your dewalt planer? If so which brand and are they worth it?
I have been looking at CMT orange tool and Freuds but really not having any luck. I also have been think I may try and sharpen them. My only worry is a few nicks i would have to take out and the amount of material I would have to remove. Don’t know how much material I can remove and still work.
