I just noticed that you can borrow Workbenches by Christopher Schwarz for free! Nice.

Apparently you can get the program on PC for free. I just did a search ‘kindle for pc’ and amazon has a free download. You have to register it with an amazon account. Then all you need is amazon prime to get the download. Thanks for sharing the info! I have recently been using a free EPUB reader which is convenient for some types of books. Some books that were PDF converted over to different file types don’t transfer as well with some punctuation and loss or distortion of pictures, but the effort to give people new options for how they chose to read is commendable. I’m glad to see these newer proprietary file types don’t require you to use an expensive hardware decoder.

You can get the reader software for PC, iPhone, Android, etc. But the lending program they have works only on their hardware readers. You need the Kindle reader + Prime to “borrow” the books like this one.
