Sounds like he might need a little love;) I’ve got the PM on my list. I’m sure you’ll love it.

So you went from the check out process, to walking out empty handed, and they did not budge on discount? Business must be good there! Congrats on the new PM. Strange they would let you have a discount, day after veterans day even.

Home Depot gives disabled vets a discount(with ID) I don’t understand this guy. If they advertise a military discount you should have gotten it. What they would get from me is some very bad publicity. They aren’t much in the sales department…even if they only broke even, the good publicity would have paid for itself.
Enjoy your PM.

Where were you buying the saw? I get a 10% dicount at Lowes for being a veteran but Home Depot says you have to have a service related injury.

Maybe HE can arrange to have the reserves stop being deployed for active duty combat, then, since he doesn’t think they qualify for mil discounts ;-)

The Lowes near me gives a mil. discount to all vets, reservists and active duty every day, all day. The HD is right across the street and they had to start doing it, too.
I have taken advantage of the discount at both stores on tools and appliances, as well as on such mundane items as paint and screws.

Where were you shopping, Bill?
I’ll bet if you told them you just told over 34,000 people how cheap they were, they would like to change their mind.
