I made the 4 hour trip to the LN hand tool event in Annapolis, MD. We had a decent time and it was worth the trip. They had most of everything they sell out so you can play with it. They also showed a lot of demonstrations on their way of sharpening, cutting, shooting ect..ect. I found it very useful to me. I picked a #4 and #7. That’s what I went there for anyway but I got to use the Norton stones to touch up my new plane irons, and I have to say I dig them. So I picked up some stones too. So now I may to sell my Work Sharp 3000.

You poor sap, you are on the road of perdition. Now that you got your nice two LN new planes, suddenly the rest of your planes just wont do. Congrats, I love my LN planes.

Did you pick the camelia oil and “rust erasers”? If not you should get some, they will keep your planes looking like new.
