Has anyone purchased and used one of these. Have been waiting for someone else (Dewalt or PC or …..) to come out with one but getting kinda anxious to buy one. What do you think of it if you have purchased and used it??

I’m still trying to figure out what that thing is supposed to be? It will do some of the things that a less expensive 9” or 10” bandsaw will do but it won’t do some of the things that a more expensive scroll saw will. What it will do is pretty much what a hand held jigsaw will do and for what it costs you can buy a very great jigsaw. Have you considered why the major tools makers haven’t intorduced their versions of this tool? I’m thinking that they too are trying to figure out what that thing is supposed to be.

I have NOT heard anything good about it. Kinda think it is a goofy idea myself. Why not just get a good used scroll saw?

I have one and love it. If you make small component parts, (like whirilgig parts) this tool is great for internal shapes like squares, rectangles, slots and so on.
Prior to this I used to mount a jig saw upside down in a vise. Dangerous and no large table.
It uses the Bosch quick connect T-style blades.
The only negative I have found is the blades that come with it. Throw those out and buy Bosch blades.
Is it a “must have” tool? No, but it’s very useful for the cuts I have illustrated above.

I think it might be a useful thing for finish carpentry on jobsites for
making shims and other fussy parts to make installations look right.
