Anyone do any repainting/touchup of their older blue Jet tools and have a color match recommendation? I’m putting a polar bear series Grizzly bandsaw riser on my Jet and would like to paint it to match.

Thanks

if you contact Jet I bet they will either have some you could buy, or they would give you the recipe. They used to include a can of touch-up paint with many of their tools back in the blue days.

Any professional paint store can match colors. Take them a sample. It should be pretty easy to get done.

I believe even Lowes and Home Depot also match colors.

Good luck.

Thanks, guys. I’ve sent an email to Jet, waiting for a response. That was a good idea Paul, for some reason it never crossed my mind.

Kent, I hadn’t considered this because I had been looking for a durable aerosol spray paint match. I guess I could shoot it through my HVLP, but will it be durable enough to withstand getting banged around in the shop?

You can have any type of paint matched, so you can get as durable as you want. I get custom paint for metal applications all the time.
