I felt this was to long to post in the forum. But its kinda a documentery of my love affair with wood, hand tools, and of course my workbench. Hope you enjoy and it helps others that are where I was a year ago.

Needs more pictures to break up the reading. Sounds like you’re off to a good start. What is a saw bench and how do you make it for less 6.00? Or is it like a saw horse?
