This guy sure cranks these dovetails out. Hardly any marking, mostly just sawing by eye… impressive skills.

Reminds me of a class I took several years ago from a guy who started out doing full size furniture and was doing scale miniature furniture at the time. Same technique, different scale; he, too, was British. You can see the difference between English and American dovetails by how skinny the tails are. Seems you’d have to do a bunch to be that fast and precise…

I’m finding that I’m liking the tiny pins more and more. Every time I make a dovetail, I get more interested in hand tool work. That, unfortunately, leads down an expensive road for quality tools. I’ve been eyeing the blue spruce toolworks chisels… dang those things look amazing.
