bhog, I have ask Jim and any other of my friends not to vote, while the project makers remain unknown, I thought it best, neither SIumpy nor I want any favortisum (sp), to be any part of this,, all up and up as it should be, as well i have emailed Stumpy and sugested any new or suspect votes should not be counted as he sees fit

I personally could care less, as long as people vote based on what they see, not how personally popular the maker is. But, if they mess up the voting and I win, it won’t make a lick of difference in Charles’ reputation, he’s way beyond being hurt by a little contest, and if they swing things the other way and I lose, it won’t matter because I wasn’t expected to win, and I got what I wanted out of it anyway- a great learning experience.

I think it is impossible for us to police it anyway. There are a lot of people on Charles’ blog that have, let’s say “less than favorable” sentiments about me (not entirely undeserved), and some of them are going to ignore Charles’ request that they not sign up for LJs and vote to stick it to me. But in order to do that, they would have to guess which box is really mine, and risk inadvertently sticking it to Charles!

A1- and anyone else with inside knowledge on who made which box, if you feel you should not vote, I admire your honesty. But at least PM both me and Charles with your vote and comments. It won’t count toward the end result, but I have been taking FULL advantage of this as a learning process (taught by none other than Charles Neil!) and would VERY MUCH appreciate your feedback on both entries.

At first I thought it was funny someone would start another thread about voting, and not vote. But ya I see your point Charles, your known friends may sway votes.
