I am not sure if the seller really doesn’t know what they are selling or what.
WAY too rusty #5 and #6 Stanleys and missing parts for $100? I think I will pass on this one.

Anaheim CL listing

BUT, I am thinking $25 or less for the pair based on the photo. Less or not at all if the picture is any indication as to their state of decay.

Personally, I think $25 is very generous for those two

But the listing is in The Peoples Republic of California. Everything costs more out there.

Those things are way too gone. I would consider it if he was giving them away and brought them to me. Keep searching, you can do much better than those.

$25 is too much. The cap, cap iron and blade for the #6 is going to cost you another $50-$100. $15 tops for the 2.

Sorry folks, I guess I gave the impression that I would bid on those. I actually was not going to do that.
And even though crank49 is right, everything is more expensive here, I could get probably 2-3 planes for that $100 of CL or eBay that would take almost no restoration.
I just thought it funny that that seller was asking so much for a couple of doorstops at best.
