Well November is here and it a busy time of the year for a lot of woodworkers and shop owners all around the globe. But I would like to send out a special “Thank You” to the many hundreds if not thousands of Veterans among us here at Lumber Jocks. Your time and service to our country has not gone unnoticed and I personal wish to thank all of you once again, for the freedoms I enjoy and the freedoms of our nation because of you and many others who took the time out of their life to do there part to keep us free.
It wasn’t until I myself joined the military and learned first hand the sacrifices made by those in uniform. Strong tall and proud and welcome the thanks from a grateful nation. Enjoy the Veterans day celebrations in your area and if your not a veteran then be sure to say thanks and maybe even shake their hand, Say “Thank you, for making it possible for me to be Free.”

To all my brothers and sisters Thank You and Semper Fi

Thank you, MrWizard. As a Viet Nam vet, I gotta say that it sure took a while to hear something like that. A couple of months ago, I was talking with some guys at my mechanic’s garage and mentioned my Navy days during ‘Nam. One of the guys shook my hand and said “Thanks!” I asked “For what?” He said “For serving during those times.” Damn near blew me away. First time in over 40 years that happened. – lol
