Topic tags/keywords: dropping things

Seems like I’am forever knocking something on the floor. My immediate responce was not always the best. I have serious neck and back issues. So to turn my attitude around I just realised how lucky I’am to be able to bend over and pick the thing up. So now when I drop something I just say “Praise God” to myself. It has turned things around 180 degrees. Not trying to be overly religious here just getting negativity out of my shop.

A great attitude!

My problem is losing things.

Good attitude Billp.

My problem is losing things. – I don’t lose things, they are always in my shop somewhere. I just don’t remember where I laid them down.

Dick, Barb, Paul…I do that all the time. Some time I look for an hour for something that I put a paper over and find it the next day. It is maddening, especially if I need it to go on with the project! I think I’m getting too old!!!!!!!!

I will say one thing that sometimes I drop something and I get ticked off and then as I bend down to get it, I find something else that I lost a time ago. It is like I’m being led to it and then I thank the Lord instead of saying the few choice words like I used to!!

Regarding losing things, I’m certain that they temporarily move into the fourth dimension, where men cannot see them.

However, women can see things in the fourth dimension!

Have you ever gone to the airing cupboard, your wardrobe or sock drawer and been unable to find some item ?

You complain to your wife, who accompanies you to the place you had been searching and points to the item immediately in front of you ! Her ability to see it brings it back !

In my workshop, instead of wasting time looking for a screwdriver/chisel/steel rule or whatever that has disappeared, I now immediately call my wife – it save hours of fruitless looking!

Regarding picking things up, it must look like a slow-motion movie to any observer watching me bend down!
