Good evening all;

I received a call from a lady this PM who said that she wanted a jewelry chest / armories with legs. She has about 12 smaller jewelry boxes and wants to put all her jewelry in one organized chest.

Any ideas as to where I could purchase a set of plans for such a project? She has a picture of a Bombay jewelry chest that she seems to like and will send it to me when her husband gets home in a few days. (She is computer illiterate….her words, not mine).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rick

Rick, I haven’t seen any good plans for a larger chest. Take a look at a site like http://www.jewelryarmoire.com/ for some ideas. There isn’t a whole lot of complexity to the design, IMHO. Basically simple casework plus drawers, and then whatever else you can do to beautify it (e.g. curves).
