Just got back from the woods- love all the photos I missed while I was gone. Thanks MSDebbieP for keeping this going.

Here is where I was. (I need to make a decision on my camera, iPhone pics aren’t cutting it.)

Beautiful pictures – both of you! Yes, it is a new month. Beginnings are an exciting adventure. What a wonderful way to start!

oh so peaceful!

re: camera—go to a camera store… try them all out.
What feels good in the hand.
Which has best flow re: accessing all the buttons
And which one has the best features for the kind of photography you’d be doing.

You are so right about that MsDebbie. I generally could care less if I catch anything. The older I get, the more I just like to take in the surroundings.

I am trying to decide how much video I would do. Charlie will give me a great deal on his D3000, I already have a bunch of Nikon/Nikkor stuff, so it is really between the D3000 or the D3100. Either way I can’t wait!!!!

oh yah, that would be the other factor—use the lenses (etc) that you already have.

if you could purchase camera today without any restrictions, which would it be: the 3000 or 3100?

I found one of my buddies with a bad wing Sunday. He seemed to be getting on okay, though.

I always wondered where those little pine trees came from ;-)) Nice shot!
