Quick fix for your pancake compressor handel

If you have a pancake compressor like mine and the handle has split in two here is a quick fix.1 pcs 3/8 threaded rod, 2 fender washers,2 lock washers, 2 3/8 bolts. Drill out the molded plastic screw channel with a 3/8 drill.Cut the rod to approx.9 inches insert it through the drilled out channel put on washers and tighten the bolts.File off any rough edges on the threaded rod ends.I have seen about ten compressors with this same handle problem. Makes you wonder why the factory doesn’t fix this problem…....I will tell you, too cheep for some threaded rod and some bolts and washers! ,
