Topic tags/keywords: sketchup plugins question

I have written a set of plugins for SketchUp that I call K2WS_Tools. These tools assist the user in completing joint details for wood working designs in SU. So far I have only posted on the SUEducation forum and am still working on the plugins to clean up some of the features.

Now as to my question. I am thinking of using this web site to comunicate with the users answering questions and giving help on using the program. I can see that posting pictures of screen shots could be quite helpful and I notice that under projects I could up load direct to this site but in a blog I must us a URL of the picture hosted on some other site. I am thinking that posting it as a project would be easier for me but would it be against LJ rules?

I realize that I will need a host site for the files involved in the plugin but I have some possibilities there or may jiust use a free file site with probly slower down load speed as I don’t really want to pay to support a free plugin.

Any Thoughts?

Keith
