Does anyone know of published plans for Ribbon Boxes? I have seen pictures but not plans, and a Web search turned up only Boxes to keep ribbon in. Don

Do you mean something like this?

I know Woodsmith has something. Also one of the scrollsaw magazines. I’ll try and find the issue for you.

YES, I have seen several versions, all great looking boxes. I keep looking also, I’m checking all the indexes of the different mags I have. Thanks

Thanks Jim Finn, I did’t realize they used a scroll saw, i use mostly the band saw. I think I used my scroll saw 5 or 6 times in 25 years. Always had a lot of trouble with it bouncing around. Just recently found out how to tame it. Don

///////////// This bow can be made with a band saw also. When I make them ( I have made and sold about 15 ), I no longer cut the inside of the loops in the bow with my scroll saw. I just use a forsner bit and drill out the center and then cut the outside of this loop. A band saw with a small blade can be used then on this outside cut.
