I took this photo the other day. The droplet(s) of water on this fallen leaf caught my attention, amongst hundreds of leaves spread out around my yard.
I took several pictures of this until I got too close, my camera hit the leaf and the droplet "burst" and poured off the leaf. I couldn't find another such photo opportunity, no matter how hard I looked.
I took this shot the day after the big ice storm that devastated New England in 2008.
With the morning sun it looked so magical.
This was at the end of my driveway.
and one to show during the storm the damage to the trees, taken with my phone.
Take a spray bottle with you next time to re-mist the dropletts. An eye dropper works too. Problem solved.
Nice pictures all. I'd sure be interested in knowing how you get that close Debbie. I have a digital with 3 macro lenses but havn't been successful in taking macro shots.
oooooooh that is AWESOME…
I was looking at the tree trunk (from the mushroom photos) trying to find something as artistic as this, but no luck.
Well done!!!!
The other day I posted a pic of roses still growing here in late October at 1800' in elevation and mentioned snow coming. Well here you go (I cut the others to place in vase)
