new to the site. i need a shop compressor and wanted to know if i buy a 60 gall 3hp model what the advantages/disadvantages are between oil lube versus oil less models. thanks. cb

I’m not too experienced with all that’s out there but I believe an important factor for tools is the CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating. This is especially true if you are going to do any spraying. If you haven’t purchased any pneumatic tools yet, do a little research on the net to see what CFM typical tools require.

Also, with oil lube, you will need to add an oil moisture separator in line with the air output to your tools.
