Topic tags/keywords: planes hand tools saws antiques

Saw this posted on the Denver area Craigslist. Too much for me, but maybe some of you hand tool collectors might find this interesting – many planes, old saws etc.

There might be some good stuff in there, but I think the price seems way too high.

Very optimistic seller. I looked at a superior box a few months ago and
it had some rare stuff in it but nowhere near $1400 worth.

Guy’s got a lot of stuff in there, but not $1400 worth. Nice Bedrock #8 and the 45 is in nice shape. Just about any tool you would need for hand tool work is there. Throw him a low number and see if he moves on it.

Crikey, I wish Craigslist in the Dallas area had stuff like that. It’s hard to find any woodworking hand-tools for sale here.
