Found this posted on our local CraigsList … http://lacrosse.craigslist.org/tls/2653186375.html

The add says 15,000 CFM … I’m thinking that would be just about enough to suck the paint off the walls in my shop.

Looks like a HF 2hp unit to me.

Gotta be a typo. 1500 would be a more realistic number.

Dunno … but this is the second or third time they have posted it.

Gee, I wonder why they haven’t sold it yet?

WORTH EVERY PENNY... if it runs… and it looks like it does!

Run, do not walk… Looks like a super deal to me…

Offer him $125 & he’ll probably take it… or it could make him mad… It’s WORTH $150

If not too far away from you, go look at it, and see it run, etc.

I’m not interested in it (I have a Jet DC that suits my needs just fine) ... I just thought this CL ad was humorous.

Well, ”Industrial” was stretching it a bit… LOL
Maybe ”Small Industrial” would have been better… LOL

Still looks like a good buy to me…

Shop around to see if you can find JUST a Motor & Blower!

Then, you’ll know what I mean... LOL

It’s says it’s 2HP, so it IS NOT 15,000 CFM. No way, no how. 1500 CFM is pushing it.

I’m not so sure it is the HF unit. Mine has a plastic bag on the bottom and a cloth bag on the top. Suppose it could be an older version.

The way the bag is hanging it looks like one of the older, thin fabric, 30 micron types. Not very good.

You can buy the HF 2 HP collector with 5 micron bag all day long for $140 brand new right out of HF with a warranty, so I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for this.

At 15,000 CFM, it should be able to suck the chrome off a bumper. :-)

The ad says ‘Hardly used, maybe twice.’ Huh?

How many people would install PVC plumbing to a DC and only use it twice!

And I have never heard of a dust collector being referred to as av ‘Industial Shop (sic) Vaccum’.

At 15,000 CFM you’ll need to be careful where you point that thing!

This looks like the 2HP Harbor Freight unit on sale on their website for $189.99 brand new.
