Does anyone have another source(website) for used tools and equipment? I live around Tampa and it seems just about everything I see on Craigslist either is priced like it was brand new or looks like a Spanish American war relic.

Have you tried different cities around your area that are not too far away of a drive? I drove 125 miles to get my 8” Grizzly jointer, and it was well worth it

I still think Craig’s List and Ebay are good sources for used tools. You have to do your homework and know what their value is, be patient, and in the case of Ebay, keep an eye on the rating of the seller. As I have told others, I have purchased just about my entire shop on Ebay and I havent had any trouble with any of the sellers and everything works just fine. You just have to know the price points so you dont pay more than the value of the tool including shipping. Even my table saw, bandsaw, and jointer came from Ebay. The jointer and bandsaw were new and I got them for about 60% of the normal new price in stores. Shipping in both cases was free so those were good deals.
