Any of you LJ’s from Corpus Christi, TX or nearby? I’m looking for somewhere to buy hardwood and yellowpages.com brings up the big box stores and flooring stores. They’ve got to be here somewhere…I think

Google “hardwood for sale” in your town. You could always narrow it down by including woods that wouldn’t be sold in a box store. Like “Walnut” or “Mahogany”. You could also use Google map to find a business. Just type in the the name “hardwood” and see what comes up.
But if all else fails. There is always the internet to buy from. :-)

Bluelinx Hardwoods in Houston and San Antonio. I have had good luck with these folks in San Antonio.

BTW, how did you like State blowing out Michigan last weekend? That’s four in a row. Can’t wait for the rematch. The girlfriend is a State alumni.

Ride up to Austin to Brazos Hardwoods. Good selection and best prices I’ve seen in Texas. http://www.brazosfp.com/

Mike, I loved it, it was the only highlight of my weekend, tigers lost, lions lost, but good ole state comes through again :)...of course living in south texas i’ve always got the cowboys-lions game to raise my spirits.

The UofM defeat was great. I am minutes from the stadium at MSU and a good friend of ours is one of the coaches at MSU. It is always great to see MSU do well. If you were in Michigan area I have found a great source for local woods.

I would love to be in the Michigan area, both my wife and I are from Birch Run, but all the aviation work seems to be in the south, something about being able to fly all year long lol
