Should have posted this BEFORE the event but just wondering if any other members made it to the event at Hearne Hardwoods.

This was my first time to Hearne Hardwoods and a LN event. I was impressed by the selection of wood at Hearne’s and the people. I went Saturday around 10AM and the place was PACKED. I didn’t get the chance to talk with everyone there but I did see Raney of daed toolworks. He was surrounded the few times I walked past.

One thing I did find interesting was MOST people were not playing with the tools, so much so that I walked up and asked. Can I use theses? and they laughed and said PLEASE do so. They had just about every too they make which was good fun. I tried just about every saw and some of the more unusual plans and things. The new shoot board plane is like butter man I want one.

Anyway it was about 1.5 hours from me and I’m glad I made the drive and would recommend anyone who’s got one in the area to give it a go.
