I’ve had my Veritas bevel up planes since may, built a few projects with them, and feel like I have enough time with them shaving wood to do a good review (personally, I find no use in the five star, ” just took it out of the box and it looks AWESOME!!!” reviews)
Wondering if anyone sees a problem with me reviewing the three at once as a system instead of the jointer, jack, smoother separately. I would be a long review doing all three at once, but if separate, there will be alot of redundancy and still not review of the system part.
I’m thinking the three as one review would be the better way to go, but just wondering if its breaking some site rule i didn’t see or is a social site faux pas.

I would look forward to that review and I encourage you to do them as a set.

I will not say that I have “no use” for reviews done on new tools just out of the box, but I will say that I find reviews done after the user has some real experience with the tool to be much more valuable.

I don’t want to discourage anyone from doing a review but I would like ENCOURAGE more people to do reviews on tools after they have some meaningful experience with the tool.

Go for it, I have the same planes so would be interested in your input.
