When I received my Wood Magazine yesterday, I immediately noticed a box project I have read here on LJ’s numerous times. I also recognized the person featured in the article! That’s right, one of our very own in another magazine. For those that do not get them magazine I thought I would share this bit of news. I know there have been other LJ’s published as well, congrats to all of them.

I was somewhat bummed that the article did not mention this great website, but I am sure it comes down to economics like most things.

Congrats to Martyn!!! He was kind enough to share his techniques with us, now he is sharing this with the world of woodworking!

Yes I just saw that as well….congrats Martyn! Of course I didn’t need to even shift my gaze to his smiling mug to know it was his box!

Martyn, you have inspired me! Congratulations!

My wife wants a nice jewelry box and I think your ez-mitre technique might just be the trick.

(It’s really just an excuse to build the circle jig on my 19” Shop Fox band saw that I’ve been putting off for the last three years—don’t tell the wife.)

Man I love this site!
