I’m working on the “treasure box” shown on Woodsmith TV a few weeks ago. The sides of the box are coated with India Ink, and I’m having trouble finding it locally…....can you folks suggest a subsitute? Would a decent quality spray enamel work here…..going to top coat with Seal-A-Cell.

Craft stores like Michaels and Joann have the higgins india ink in the drawing and calligraphy section. I dont know if that is large enough for your project.

Thanks….searched on-line for India Ink at Joann’s, but couldn’t find anything…...foolishly assumed they didn’t carry it. Since there is one just down the street, I drag my sorry butt down there and check it out.
