Redid the bedroom now it’s time to move on to the bath.

I will be taking out a tub and replacing it with a neo-corner shower enclosure. I do not want the leaking responsibility of mudding and tiling one myself so I’ll buy the pan and the walls and the glass door. Thing is everyplace I go to online they get horrible reviews. American Standard, Aqua, just about all the common ones. Even a guy at Lowes told me not to get a brand I was considering there. He said the pans crack, lots of them come back.

Right now I’m down to some made by Swanstone. It’s made of a substance they call veritek. It has better ratings. Along with that they make some glass doors that people don’t hate.

Anyone give me some good or horror stories (with the brand) or advice before I make the plunge and order something? They all look pretty but It seems they are not all alike.

I use Swanstone pans for most jobs where the owner wants a pre-made pan. They are also easy to install. Have never had any problems. Try to stay away from the thinner plastic pans.
