Anyone have an extra 2 3/8 lever cap?

I bought a 5 1/2 that is missing one.

I will keep my eyes out. It is a later plane (post 1938), so a cap from a 4 1/2, 6, or 7 would work as well.

I’ve been looking for the same thing for a #6 for a while. There have been a few on ebay, but a bit pricey so far.

Check here: http://www.shop.roseantiquetools.net/

I’ve been to her store and she has an awesome inventory.

Another option is to look for a cheap #6 parts plane. The #6 is kind of the red headed step child of handplanes (no offense to red headed step children intended)....

Buy a Stanley #11 and cut the lever cap in half…
