How do I handle cutting and preparing an acorn squash? Do I use my chopsaw? My table saw? My band saw? or do I put it on the lathe and turn off the excess…......I ended up with my band saw and it came out pretty good.

So is the insides easily removed by the blade and end up in the lower door section?
We always eat the stuff on the inside but typically leave it in there when cooking it in the microwave.

A router with a large panel bit works for me. Whips things up in no time.
Seriously, just put it on a pine board with some brown sugar and bake it for 4 hours. Throw the squash away and eat the board.(old southern recipe)
