Just came across this site today and decided to join. I am fairly new to woodworking. I was raised up around it with my Dad having a woodshop. I usually have 20+ days off from work so I figured I’d step up my woodworking game a little bit. I just ordered a 14” bandsaw from Grizzly that I’m looking forward to getting soon. I will slowly upgrade the existing woodworking equipment that I currently have to allow for bigger and better projects. I’ll be working out of my garage. My wife and kids might not like me taking over most of the garage but they’ll get used to it hopefully.

I look forward to learning from the site

Welcome and good luck.. most likely the wife will be upset a how much time to spend in the garage. That’s why you make your significant other surprise gifts every now and then. This is a great site just to learn new things and be amazed at what other people put out!

Welcome. Be warned this site is just as addicting as the hobby itself!

Welcome, we will need pics. There is a saying here, without pics it didnt happen. So we will need to see the stand and the Grizz when you get it.

That’s a pretty nice stand. Unfortunately something happened to the links and they don’t work unless you remove all the text after the .jgp part. You can edit them and fix them, but I would also recommend just posting them to the projects on this site, which will also give you a place to discuss the stand and what went into building it.

Let me also join the others on the site and say, “Welcome!”
