Hmmm, never been to one of these. Anyone know what to expect? -- Optimists are usually disappointed. Pessimists are either right or pleasantly surprised. I tend to be a disappointed pessimist. |

A lot of overpriced tools but there are some great free classes. -- Mauricio - Woodstock, GA - "Confusion is the Womb of Learning, with utter conviction being it's Tomb" Prof. T.O. Nitsch |

Lol. I have seen some deals…. It is a good opportunity to see a wide variety of woodworking related projects and they have 4-5 different education tracks running. Worth spending a few hours running around or even a full weekend if you want to attend all the classes. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

Defenitly worth going. There are some deals but be carefull becaues they are mixed in with some things that are very overpriced. Oh, and there is beer there. At least at the Atlanta show, I didnt realize it until I as about to leave which sucked. I sat in on a great hand tool class hosted by this Engish gentelman, Grahm Blackburn I think was his name. -- Mauricio - Woodstock, GA - "Confusion is the Womb of Learning, with utter conviction being it's Tomb" Prof. T.O. I’ve gone for the past 4 years. I always end up picking something up from PeachTree USA or woodline. I enjoy talking to other woodworkers at the shows too. Last year, I spoke to Jim Heavey (Wood Magazine) and Roland Johnson (Fine Woodworking). I’ll at the Sacramento show on Saturday. Who else is game? -- breaknrn |

I will be attending the one in Sacramento although I am not sure which day just yet as I am waiting for them to post a schedule of events. The people at the Woodworking Show main office and I exchanged emails earlier this week and it is suppose to be posted soon. It would be great to meet up with any of you who are going. -- "Projects beget projects and projects beget the need to buy new tools and that is what the cycle of life is all about."
