Topic tags/keywords: trick photobucket Just an informational item. If I take a photo on my iphone, upload it to dropbox and then embed the image onto a post, via dropbox, the image is rotated 90 degrees and cropped. Example 1: However, if I take the same photo on my iphone, upload it to photobucket then embed the image onto a post via photobucket, the image is cropped but not rotated. You might want to take a look at what resolution is, if you can set to a lower resolution it may help. -- Roger-R, Republic of Texas. "Always look on the Bright Side of Life" - An eyeball to eyeball confrontation with a blind person is as complete waste of Time. |

Are you holding your iPhone sideways to get more of the door into the picture? If so, you are taking it sideways… and you will be seeing the pic sideways… If you want to change it, Rotate it 90 degrees Right, and Save it.. Most photo editing programs can Rotate pics. -- Have Fun! Joe Lyddon - Alta Loma, CA USA - Home: http://www.WoodworkStuff.net ... Roger, I appreciate it. will try that. Sorry Joe, that would be too simple. The issue is that the pics look fine on the local computer. It’s not until they are uploaded from my Dropbox folder to LJ site that the rotation occurs. Dropbox is used as a means to get the pic from iphone to computer and in this case, the LJ site. It is faster than syncing with the laptop. But it does not matter what method I use to get the pics to the laptop. What I found is that if I don’t use Dropbox OR upload directly from my computer, but use photobucket instead, it works fine. -- If You Haven't Got the Time to Do It Right, When Will You Find the Time to Do It Over? |

I always, for the most part, upload to this site and it works pretty good… Glad you got it! -- Have Fun! Joe Lyddon - Alta Loma, CA USA - Home: http://www.WoodworkStuff.net ...
