Topic tags/keywords: cherry walnut cutting board

This is one of the very few gifts I will make this year. It’s simple, almost cliched, a cherry and walnut cutting board for my mom. It’s easy but at least it’s done. You all have 77 days left to complete your projects you’re giving away for Christmas.

Well, I still have to put some sort of finish on it. Furniture oil, mineral oil, or varathane or something. And I sure wish I could find a better place to buy hardwood here in Taber other than Windsor plywood in Lethbridge.

-- When questioned about using glue on a garbage bin I responded, "Wood working is about good technique and lots of glue........I have the glue part down."

Better go with mineral oil, congrats on the early finish.

If I start now, what will I do with the other 76 days, 23 hours and 45 minutes that are left? :)
