1900 acres next to my place has a fire going. So far it has burned 30 acres and is spreading fast. It’s just to the north of me and the wind is out of the Southeast. Strange place for a fire. It’s a private hunting place and no one is there. Hmmm Sounds suspicious… Bad thing, it’s all in timber. All that wood…. Smoke plume is 2-3 hundred feet right now. Think I’ll go move the horses…bye

yea gary let us know…...fire has no friends, unless your cold and its controlled in a wood stove, save those horses

Yes, we still have a drought in Texas. Probably will for quite a while.

Fire is contained. It got about 400 acres. Lots of trees, lots of fences, couple of barns. No houses, no people. Everything is ok. I went north to a friends place and we disc’d most of his pasture close to the woods. Planes had to go to the lakes to get water because the Red River is so low. Saw more cars than I see in two weeks in this part of the woods. Lots of lookers.
Everything is ok. Back to the shop

im glad all is ok now, sorry to hear of the loss, uncontrolled fire is a sad thing…....ride one of them horses for me…talk to you soon…bob
