A ton of stuff has gone on in my shop, or really out of my shop lately. For one, I’ve begun completely refinishing the space I call home with a fresh coat of paint to brighten the place up, a newly designed website,(www.thebenchroom.com) (not live yet) and the design/construction of a new workbench. Once the new site is up, my master plan is to continue this blog as a means of documenting the development of future projects, so there will be link to get here on the new site.
Over the last two years I’ve sold off most any tool with a cord, and tried to replace them with hand tools. All that remain is an old bandsaw, and a router. This conversion for me is my view of taking the higher path, a personal conviction in working wood. This changes everything, but I strongly feel this change is much-needed. I’m confident this belief will be evident in the work to come…..
Comments are always welcome here or on the blog I use, I’ve not done alot to drive traffic there but hopefully that will turn around with the new site. Heres a link to this post, which is also found there on the blog.
