How do you view the broadcasts that are aired by the media today. I can remember when I heard the best Party Political Broadcast I have ever heard and agreed with 100%.

Just to refresh your memories I have included the link to this speech, it is not long, but sums up what I think is most people’s take on political speeches.
You have to excuse the haughty English accent.

I say old chap! It’s rather unfair for you colonials to describe the way that Peter – and I – speak as ‘haughty’.

Don…. you do realize Roger is British?

Although he’s been in Texas so long, there is no telling what kind of accent he’s got.

Charlie,

People from Texas (excluding Roger) don’t have accents…..they have “drawls”.....Being originally from Texas myself, I know this for a fact…..Yankees have accents….Southerners have drawls….lol. The difference between Northern girls and Southern girls: Northern girls say “Yes…you can”. Sourthern girls say “Yes….you all can”....lol. There…that clears that up…....!!!!

Sourthern girls say “Yes….you all can”….lol.

I’m going to go ahead and leave that one alone, Rog;)

But Al, the given speech says absolutely nothing at all, but it is honest. :-)

Bye the Bye Rick, English people DO NOT have an accent, they have a dialect, but you fellas do have strange accents – so there!

I am kind of hard of hearing. With that accent, I didn’t think he was saying anything, but wasn’t sure. Typical political speach, say what they think they want to hear, but in a way that both sides like it ;-))

I find it heartening that we, all of us in attendance here at any given time, can carry on this type of socially signifigant discourse about global issues of such import as those discussed here today in such depth and share our diverse opinions with total lack of rancor (for all you Brits., that would be rancour). We must truly be individuals of the highest caliber, cut from the finest cloth as it were, forged in the eternal flame from the finest steel. We do indeed have the right stuff. But I digress, I must now take this oppertunity to return to the topic at hand which we all know deserves our immediate and undivided attention. Alas, what more can I say now that it has all been said but to commend you all, each and every one of you, on your diligence in undertaking this Herculean task that has confronted us and seeing it to it’s end.

And to you Roger, for bringing this to our collective attention, I say: Bravo!!

lol, Neil. That gives me Charity Hospital New Orleans flashbacks. By the end of my tour, I was an expert in local African American quasi-French Bayou slang. If anyone thinks that’s racist, ask an African American cajun if they’re offended;)
