Last night I bought a chain saw sharpener at HF for $17.99 ( $19.99- 20%) instead of $49.99 and it works like a charm. -- Bert |

I use a file. Doesn’t eat up the chain. -- bill@magraphics.us |

You bought this for $17.00 ?? Pretty good deal. I use a pedestal grinder and hold the chain in my hand. Takes me about 4 minutes. I built a little set up to work like the Chicago Electric tool works using my Makita chop saw and a metal cutting blade. It worked but the feeding of the chain was cumbersome. I didn’t have it hanging out on a cantilever so the chain was always dragging on the bench. -- When the moderator chooses sides, his site sucks. |
