I am going to buy a Powermatic Mortiser (bench top) but I don’t have a clue on what chisel/bits to buy. I have read several reviews covering Delta, Powermatic and CMT bits but they left me more confused then ever. I would really like to hear from my fellows at LJ what bits you are using and recommend.
Thanks, Tom

Tom—I have a Jet JBM-5 … still using the original chisel set that came with it.

I have been salivating over the chisels from Lee Valley (,180,42240,53317 ) ... everything I have ever ordered from them is top drawer, so I suspect these would be, too.

One thing you will want is a set of sharpening cones … Lee Valley has them too.
