I have a Delta 28-560 and I was looking to get a new tension spring but Delta discontinued it and I can’t seem to find anyone that has them. It looks like I can use just about any brand/type as long as it it the right length and diamater to fit. Can someone confirm if I am correct in that assumption?

I recently replaced the spring in my Jet Bandsaw with one of these and it worked wonderfully. If your model is a 14” saw you should have no issues.

Thanks everyone. I will check woodcraft and see if they have any recommended replacements for the model bandsaw, otherwise I will order based on the spring size that is currently in there.
