Has anyone noticed that Lie-Nielsen removed their You Tube videos? I’ve looked at those videos to reinforce the use of my Lie-Nielsen tools or to inspire me to get a new tool. Deneb Puchalski’s videos by Traditionaltools was a favorite subscription. I hope this is short term to update their videos or to put them out on their own Lie-Nielsen website.

That’s too bad. I just watched a number of their videos this week and am glad I did. I hope they change their mind and put them back up. It was great publicity for them.

If you have a Facebook account you’ll find a lot of their videos there.

I noticed that as well. I watched all of their videos a few months ago and got some great information. I was thinking about making a purchase last week and went to look for the video one last time and the entire channel was gone. Hopefully they’ll be back soon.

I really hope that isn’t true on so many levels.

Maybe Stanley can put out a decent quality tool but without the ridiculously high prices? ..... yeah, I thought not. :)

Stanley? My brother-in-law’s cousin’s barber said that the Dollar Store bought LN!

Hmm, There are plenty of hand-tool events scheduled so I think the company is fine. I plan to go to the one in Houston. They have my dovetail saw right now (getting it sharpened).

Thanks for pointing out the fact they’re on Facebook. I logged into my Facebook account for the first time in a century and found the vid I was looking for.

Well, that sure solved that bunch of speculations didn’t it?!

It’s all YouTube’s fault!

While I was there, I looked at the #51 Shooting Plane…

$500 for a shooting Plane?!
NOT for this PUPPY!

Be careful the low angle block planes are like a gateway drug. Try one block plane and the next thing you know the shooting plane has wormed it’s way into your heart….
