I’m new to the whole paste wax thing so I have a question. I will be trying a danish oil/ paste wax finish. How many coats of wax should I put on after the danish oil? Also an answer I never seem to find in articles… When applying multiple coats of wax, should each coat be buffed after applying or do I apply a couple layers then buff them all at one time?

Usually that info will be on the wax container / label, as each product is slightly different.

I have switched to using Hardwax Oil, which I find gives me a better finish for my applications.

Ive used wax over Danish oil a bunch and i like the results. I typically put on 2 coats of wax buffing after each coat. Just make sure yu let the oil cure for a good 3-4 days before you hit it with wax.
