I’m just finishing building my kitchen cabinets and I’m gathering ideas on how to finish a couple accent pieces. I want to do an antiqued, distressed paint finish of some sort. I’ve been online looking at “Fabulous Finishes” Reclaim paints and glazes. They look really nice but a bit pricey. I also looked at some milk paint finishes. I think I want a darker color paint or stain underneath with some kind of off white top color with some edges worn down, worm holes, etc… Anybody got a good recipe for this? If so, I would also like to know what products you recommend. Paint, stain, glaze, etc…... I really appreciate any thoughts.
