I just purchased the Bosch RA1171 Cabinet router table to use until I can build my own. The table mounting plate does not fit my Triton MOF001C router. It seems to be an odd size plate (9×11 7/16) , so when I looked for a blank plate I could not find one. The manual says that Bosch sells a blank plate, but several reviews say they don’t and I could not find one online ( I will call Bosch tomorrow ). Drilling the existing plate is an option but there are a number of predrilled holes in the way so it will be messy.

Does anyone have a Triton mounted to this table. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

each router mounts differently, there are only a few routers out there with similar mounting holes. the bosch router able is probably predrilled for the bosch router which is very different than the Triton (I have both so I know).

I personally would probably just redrill the existing plate unless you plan on selling it, or using it with a bosch router in which case I’d just use the existing plate as a template and make another one.

I have the same table and mounted a craftsman router. The craftsman doesn’t match the hole patterns either. I set it up where to use one of the holes and then pivoted it around until I had a place to drill the other ones.

The blank plate is something that I’ve never seen in stores so you might end up waiting quite a while.

Have your say...
