Hey guys i am new to LJ’s but i thought this might be the best place to look. I really would like to have a cabinet saw to setup for special projects that could be left to hold dado set or jig that I could keep the main TS free for ripping. Really don’t have a lot to spend so i would be willing to purchase one that needs a little work or motor or such. Let me know if you have anything that may be of interest. thanks

You should specify your local area – and even add a signature to your posts saying
where you live and what machinery you are looking to acquire.

In any case, cruising Craigslist, ebay, and other such sites can help you find
a saw in your area. Another approach is to put up fliers around you community
saying you want to buy woodworking machinery. You will get calls from
widows and other folks who’ve got old iron sitting around collecting the wrong
kind of dust.

Have your say...
