I went into the workshop and turned on my delta 50-875 air cleaner and it would not start. I thought maybe it was seized up because it is extra humid right now but it did not seem tto be. The power light on panel wa green but i would not engage the blower when you hit the on off switch. any ideas what is the problem.

The motor could have gone out. If the panel is running it should start. I don’t have Delta , but my Jet is going to made the same way, and if this happened to me I would check the motor.

Is there a pc brd in the unit. See if you have power coming out to the motor. Also check if you may have an in line fuse. Does it have more than one speed. If so put it on high and see if it works. You have power going in so it may have a bad brd, power supply any Buber of things.

My Delta 50-875 Air Cleaner will turn on, run for a little while (5-10 min), then shut off. I can turn it back on, but it just does the same thing. It doesn’t seem to matter if I turn it on with the remote or not. It’s about 10 years old, but doesn’t have that many hours on it Any thoughts?
