Let’s say I buy a set of roundover bits that contains sizes 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”. For a roundover edge profile, would I normally pick the size that is around half of my stock thickness? I also understand that roundover bits can be used for beading as well but I’m not sure exactly how. Is there a rule-of-thumb as to which size to use in this application and can someone explain to me how to use these for beading? -- Paul D, Atlanta GA |
