I’ve been putting off buying one of these until my shop was ready for it…. tools laying around in big boxes just clutter things up. I went to my local HD today & saw a price of $249.95 for the unit… I swear I remember it as $199.95…. Well, I asked the tool department manager, he peeled the price off of the shelf display… and sure enough there was the old price. I’m a regular customer there, and he knows it…. so he charged me the “old” ticket. I know we’re facing increasing tariffs… but that’s a heck of a hike ! You might try getting one of these wile HD is still possibly willing to help you out !

I have been looking at that unit for awhile, just really had no use come up! Where are you as it has been at $249 here in Canada for at least a year?

I have the Ridgid and love it. Mine was an open box one. Could always go for the Wen one that’s similar.

$200 plus 25% tariff equals $250. While I am not sure this is the case more and more companies that had been able to hold the line on pricing are caving in. Rikon just makes a lot of bigs jumps across the board for things not in stock at dealers prior to the price hike. The 10-326 bandsaw is now $1100.

Yup, price increase. Fortunately they still had a $199 sticker they forget to remove on one shelf and Home Depot honored the price.

Trump tariffs at work… I hope it works out in the long run.

I saw that price increase in my HD (So Cal) when I was browsing black Friday. I couldn’t believe it, since it was $200 forever, and NEVER went on sale. Glad I bought mine about 6 months ago after being on the fence for a year.

I thought the tariffs were on steel and cast iron? The OSS is all plastic and aluminum
