I’ve been using this Penetrol 90 from Shaeffer Oil since 1989. It is a fantastic cutting oil, penetrating oil, rust desolver, and lubricant.

To give you an idea of how good it is, I needed to cut the ends off 4 3/4” grade eight u-bolts on a Western Unit suspension on a gasoline trailer. In cutting the first bolt, I used 5 bi Metal blade in my sawzall. At a buck 65 each, this got expensive fast. I used Penetrol 90 on the rest of the cuts and when finished, I still have a good blade.

I have taken rusty bearings and worked them with the Penetrol 90 and after cleaning them up found them usable to put right back if not pitted.

This is not available in stores, and you must deal with a Shaeffer salesman. You can go to them on the internet and they will hook you up. http://Shaefferoil.com

And NO silicone to mess up your wood.

I went to the website… Finally Searched for ” Penetrol 90” ... got a ton of ” Penetrol” links… nothing on ” Penetrol 90”...

Can you give me a link where I can get it?

http://www.schaefferoil.com/penetro-oil.html

This is what I found when I did a google search

Looks like you can order online however by the case. Don’t know how fast I would go through that. Although I did find a listing for single cans on ebay

I misspelled it. I t is Schaeffer oil products.com Sorry about that. I usually order it a case at a time and I have two friends in the trucking profession that take equal shares. at the moment I have 4 cans in stock and will go through that in about a year.
If you use it with your drills when you drill steel, you can forget sharpening them almost forever. It is fantastic for the clamp threads and stops rust on the threads. It virtually stops stainless threads form gaulding when you are tightening them.
Give me time and I will bore you to death with the good things this does. lol
