Wood Expo in Charlotte Michigan

As one who was born and raised in Michigan I would love to use this as an excuse for a trip back to my home state, but I fear scheduling conflicts will prevent that.

FYI – while I was raised in the thumb, I went to college at Grand Valley (Grand Rapids area) and lived for 6 years in Battle Creek, about 25 miles from Charlotte.

Thanks for posting this. Hopefully I’ll be able to take some time and stop in. I looked at the Johnson web site – looks like there are a lot of great seminars and things to buy. Looks like fun.

I have a son that lives in Battle Creek and another that lives in Grand Rapids so I know those areas well. No trip to Grand Rapids would be complete without a stop at the West Michigan Woodcraft.
I grew up in Flint and we would camp in the state park by Caseville and perch fish in BayPort. Good Times.

well, maybe on my way to Cadillac i will stop in – I will have to convince the brother-in-law first. I won’t be able to do anything but window shop as I will be on the bike :-( L L Johnson is an awesome place!!!

I hate to see someone just window shop. As a fellow LumberJock I feel it is my duty to offer to store anything that you may purchase.That can’t be carries on your bike. I have a little room in my shop that I would be willing to offer you, until you could pick it up in a few months or years down the road. Just trying to help.
